SEOUL, April 16 (Yonhap) -- Mukbang star Youtuber Tzuyang, whose real name is Park Jung-won, appeared for police questioning Wednesday after filing a criminal complaint against Kim Se-eui, head of the right-wing YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, for alleged stalking and intimidation.
Park arrived at Seoul Gangnam Police Station around 8:47 a.m. and told reporters, “It has been mentally exhausting and frightening, and at one point I didn’t want to fight anymore. But I will sincerely cooperate with the investigation so that others do not go through the same experience.”

According to Park’s legal representative, attorney Kim Tae-yeon, Kim had “continuously harassed Park by mentioning her in videos more than 30 to 40 times between July and October last year.” The lawyer added that the court had twice issued provisional orders recognizing Kim as a stalker and instructing him to cease contact with the victim.
The case stems from a series of broadcasts in which Kim publicized audio recordings suggesting Park was previously threatened by fellow YouTuber “Gujaeyuk” (real name Lee Jun-hee) over her alleged past at an adult entertainment venue.

Park later revealed that she had worked at such establishments under coercion and abuse from a former boyfriend. Kim, however, challenged her account, repeatedly broadcasting claims that her explanation was untrue — prompting Park to file a police complaint against him for violating the anti-stalking law, as well as for intimidation and coercion.
While police initially dropped the case in February citing insufficient evidence, prosecutors accepted Park’s objection and returned the case to police last month, requesting supplementary investigation.
