Actor Ji Jin-hee, Yoon Se-ah, Kim Hye-eun confirms to appear in tvN's upcoming drama

SEOUL, March 30th (Yonhap) -- Actor Ji Jin-hee, actresses Yoon Se-ah, and Kim Hye-eun have all been confirmed to star in tvN's upcoming drama, "The Road: Tragedy of 1" on the 30th.

The new drama will tell the story of the desires, secrets, guilt, and salvation of the residents at 'Royal the Hill', a place where only the top 1% of the country lives in.

Actor Ji Jin-hee will play the role of Baek Soo-hyun, a trusted national news anchor. Behind the mask of a "faithful journalist", the audience will see that Baek Soo-hyun is a cold-blooded figure who does whatever it takes to get what he wants.

Yoon Se-ah, who plays Seo Eun-soo, Baek Soo-hyun's wife and daughter of the chairman of Korea's leading company, will show a desperate change of character to protect her family after a tragic incident.

Kim Hye-eun will act as Cha Seo-young, an announcer who has everything but cannot stop her desire for more.

The drama is scheduled to air during the second half of the year.
