SEOUL, June 7 (Yonhap) -- tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Link: Eat, Love, Kill,” starring Yeo Jin-goo·Moon Ga-young, started around 3% percent in viewership.
According to the rating company Nielsen Korea on Tuesday, the first episode of “Link” which aired on Monday at 10:30 p.m., recorded a viewer rating of 3.1%.
The first episode depicted a strange phenomenon of Eun Gye-hoon (Yeo), an executive chef who abruptly feels the emotions of a job seeker Noh Da-hyun (Moon).
The episode also quickly unfolded Eun’s past and the disappearance of his sister, who shared feelings with him, and Noh’s story of killing a stalker who chased her.
Noh’s mother and grandmother skillfully handled the body on the scene as if they had done it before, raising curiosity about what happened to the family in the past.
Despite the unique theme of "sharing emotions," the drama developed somewhat blandly in the beginning with a romantic comedy featuring a cold male protagonist and a stubborn and innocent female protagonist, but in the second half, raised tension and curiosity with a murder case.
The collaboration of Yeo and Moon was also said to be well-suited.
