SEOUL October 20 (Yonhap) -- Busan City Government address on Thursday that “Busan Webtoon Festival” will be held at the KT&G Sangsang Madang Busan and E-Sports Arena in Busan starting on October 27 for 4 days.
Due to wide spread of COVID-19, the festival will be held offline for the first time in three years.
Over 120 different South Korean webtoon artists will showcase their pieces with the theme of “Webtoon, steals art” at the KT&G’s Sangsang Madang, under 9 different sections starting on October 27 until 30.
Moreover, the festival will feature “Broman Show” lead by artist MindC and Tamleebu, “Drawing Talk Show” by author Kim Woo-sub known for his work “Shark” which has surpassed 140 views, and author Sun Yong-min from “Again My Life,” talks shows featuring webtoon artist who have finished their works such as author Bae Min-ki with his work The Long Way of the Warrior” and more various contents will be offered to visitors.
Whereas in E-sports Arena in Busan, Webtoon conference dealing heavily on the current stance of the Webtoon industry starting on October 27 at 3 p.m. and on October 27 and 28 Webtoon counseling programs will be held.
