SEOUL, Mar. 26 (Yonhap) -- KBS 2TV's new weekend drama "The Real Deal" has started with the first encounter between Baek Jin-hee and Ahn Jae-hyeon, which was twisted.

According to Nielsen Korea, a ratings research company, on Sunday, the first episode of "The Real Deal" which aired at 8:05 p.m. the previous day was 17.7%.

In the first episode, Oh Yeon-du (played by Baek Jin-hee), who was angry at her boyfriend's affair, mistook Gong Tae-kyung (played by Ahn Jae-hyeon)'s car for her boyfriend's car and scribbled on the car with a red marker.

The different family history of Oh Yeon-du and Gong Tae-kyung also drew attention. When Oh Yeon-du disappeared from the house due to her separation from her boyfriend Kim Joon-ha (Jung Eui-je), her family showed a unique family love worrying about her and looking for her.

On the other hand, Gong Tae-kyung was treated coldly at the house where his mother remarried. His new grandmother, Eun Geum-sil (Kang Bu-ja), forced Gong Tae-kyung, who said he does not want to marry, to marry Jang Se-jin (Cha Joo-young), the chief secretary.

At the end of the drama, Oh Yeon-du, who was caught by Gong Tae-young in the parking lot, suddenly collapsed and heard the shocking news that she was pregnant at the hospital, heralding a stir ahead.

From the first episode, "The Real Deal" quickly developed the intertwined relationship between the four main characters, Oh Yeon-du, Gong Tae-kyung, Kim Joon-ha and Jang Se-jin.

It also showed the contrasting family atmosphere of Oh Yeon-du and Gong Tae-kyung, raising questions about what kind of conclusion they will come up with by melting topics that reflect the times such as non-maritalism and pre-marital pregnancy while keeping the fun of family plays alive.

Actress Cha Joo-young, who played Hye-jung, a vain flight attendant in the Netflix series "The Glory," drew attention as she transformed into chaebol family's chief secretary who seemed to have grown in money and power.
