SEOUL, June 20 (Yonhap) – “We will be back anytime / Baby don’t you worry / This road we walk / Everything will be a way”
When K-pop superband BTS sang its new song "For Youth," passionate shouts echoed through the hall.
Fans might not be familiar with the song since it was just released, but they sang along with the lyrics as if they had practiced together and shouted the names of the seven members. They seemed as if they had been waiting for this day.
BTS completed all of its comeback stages for the new album “Proof” on June 19.

Although the performances, where BTS participated in for the first time in about two years, drew attention for the “return” of the world star, it was the group’s greeting to wrap up the past journey as shown in the lyrics.
BTS’ stages for the music programs were pre-recorded three times and Mnet’s “M Countdown” was first revealed on June 16. The program was aired the day after the group announced to temporarily pause group activities, but it was before the announcement during the recording.
When BTS, which met around 4,000 fans at Jangchung Municipal Stadium in Jung-gu, Seoul, greeted by saying, “We have come back,” fans welcomed the group with loud cheering and a big round of applause.

The members, who kicked off the stage with “For Youth,” said, “Let’s sing together” and “Please join us,” and even posed a heart to the audience. There were members who could not hold back their feelings with teary eyes.
Suga showed his surprise performance when signing “Yet To Come,” the title song of the new album.
Suga, who sat in front of a white grand piano, heated the scene by playing the first part of “Yet To Come” himself. Fans gave a big applause for the rapper’s transformation.
It drew attention as BTS’ “Yet To Come” and “Butter” were nominated for the first place in KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank.” It was No.1 match with the group itself.

Although the members did not appear on the live stage, they also showed the "ending pose" (characteristic pose and facial expression shown in the last scene of the stage in music programs) through a special video released after the announcement of the first place.
Member Jin winked and gave a hand kiss, and Suga was playfully breathing with gasps. Fans shouted even louder as Jungkook looked at the camera after pushing back his jacket.
Jimin said, "It's been a while since I saw my fans up close that my ears are almost turning red," adding, "I'm so happy today. I'll go home with this lingering feeling.”
RM said, "I'm really nervous to perform in front of my loved ones like this," while V mentioned, "I really wanted to perform in front of ARMY. I love you.”
Jin said, "Although the stage is far away from the audience, I can hear the conversation of 'ARMY' on the in-ear monitor," adding, "I know you said Seok-jin(Jin's real name) is handsome."
BTS also captivated its fans with two new songs on SBS' "Inkigayo."
The seven members, who appeared after the caption, "On June 13, 2013, our dreams began," greeted each fan with eye contact by singing "For Youth" and "Yet To Come."
It was a music program scheduled for pre-recording without appearing on a live show, but the cheers of "ARMY" were different.
Starting with MBC M’s “Show! Champion” on June 15, BTS won the first place in all four music programs, including "M Countdown," "Music Bank," and "Inkigayo."
However, it is unfortunate that there will probably be no official activities of BTS for the time being.
As it was revealed through YouTube videos, BTS plans to pause their group activities for a while and focus on individual activities by releasing solo albums and collaborative projects with various singers. The first runner is expected to be J-Hope.
J-Hope will perform as the headliner of "Lollapalooza" Chicago, one of the biggest music festivals in North America, on July 31(U.S. Time), and he is expected to drop a solo album around this period.
Prior to this, Jungkook will release a collaborative song with American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth.
The two, who received attention of music fans for their duet performance at an award ceremony in 2018, are planning to drop the new song "Left and Right" in about four years on June 24.
