SEOUL, Aug. 6 (Yonhap) -- Actor Yeon Woo-jin, Lee Moo-saeng and Lee Tae-hwan will join JTBC’s upcoming series “Thirty, Nine,” according to the local broadcaster Friday.
Son Ye-jin, Jeon Mi-do and Kim Ji-hyun will take part as well.
The romance drama picturing the loves and friendships of three 39-year-old friends.
Yeon is taking the role of a friendly doctor Kim Sun-woo who falls for Cha Mi-jo (Son).
Lee Moo-sang will be Kim Jin-seok, a CEO of an entertainment company, who falls in love at first sight with Jeong Chan-young (Jeon). Lee Tae-hwan will play as Park Hyun-june, a chef and owner of a restaurant, who will be in love with Jang Joo-hee (Kim), a frequent visitor of the restaurant.
The series, which is a collaboration of Yoo Young-ah, screenwriter of drama “Encounter” and films “Kim Ji Young, Born in 1982” (2019), “Miracle in Cell No.7” (2012) and Kim Sang-ho PD, director of drama “Run On”, is scheduled to be aired in 2022.
