SEOUL, Aug. 7 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group BLACKPINK began the European leg of their new world tour “Deadline” with concerts last weekend at Stade de France in Paris, YG Entertainment announced on Thursday.

The shows, held on Aug. 2-3, drew a total audience of 110,000—double the attendance of their Born Pink tour stop in Paris, which attracted 55,000 fans.

The quartet energized the crowd with hits like Kill This Love and Pink Venom, supported by live band performances and dazzling special effects.

Rose, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa connected with fans throughout the venue, who responded with loud cheers and a sea of signature pink lightsticks.

The group will perform six concerts in four cities during this tour: Paris, Milan, Barcelona, and London.

On August 15 and 16, BLACKPINK will become the first K-pop girl group to hold a solo concert at Wembley Stadium in London, a venue often dubbed the “stage of dreams.”
