SEOUL, Sept. 2 (Yonhap) -- K-pop band F.T. Island's drummer Choi Min-hwan (29) has become the last member of the team to complete his mandatory military service after being discharged from the military on Thursday.
Choi, who recently took his last military leave, was discharged from the army due to the Ministry of National Defense's unreturned discharge policy to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the singer's agency FNC Entertainment said.
The 29-year-old drummer became F.T. Island's last member to finish his service in the military following Lee Hong-gi and Lee Jae-jin, who were discharged from the military in April and August, respectively.
Choi made his debut as F.T. Island's drummer in 2007 and performed various music while also taking on activities as an actor. After marrying Yulhee, a former member of the K-pop girl group Laboum, in 2018, the couple appeared in the second season of reality show "Mr. House Husband" to share their daily lives..
