SEOUL, July 9 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s dance practice video of “Playing with Fire” surpassed 200 million YouTube views, announced YG Entertainment on Saturday.
“Playing with Fire” is one of the double title from BLACKPINK’s second single album “ Square Two” which was released in November of 2016. The song is a tropical house track mixed with BLACKPINK’s powerful and charismatic dance moves.
Dance practice video of “Playing with Fire” surpassed total of 200 million views on Saturday at 1:02 a.m.
“Music video of Playing with Fire is about to surpass 800 million YouTube views.” adding “The song has been out for more than 5 years and 8 months and it is still being loved by fans all over the world.” announced YG Entertainment.
Out of BLACKPINK 32 YouTube videos which surpassed 100 million views 11 of them are dance practice videos with over 200 million view counts.
BLAKCPINK will be releasing their new track on August, and will embark on a large scale world tour in the second half of 2022.
