SEOUL, Jan. 9 (Yonhap) -- South Korean star singer Cho Yong-pil will hold his 20th album release commemorative concert in Daejeon this April, which was postponed due to the Jeju Air tragedy.
YPC, Jo's agency, announced on Thursday that the "20th Album Release Cho Yong-pil & The Great Birth Concert - Daejeon" will take place at 6 p.m. on April 5 at the Daejeon Convention Center.
Originally scheduled for last Saturday, the concert was postponed to join the national mourning period following the Jeju Air disaster.
YPC stated, "To avoid confusion due to issues such as ticketing system transitions and the potential loss of delivered tickets, we decided to cancel all previous reservations and reopen ticket sales." The agency also extended "deep condolences to the victims of the Jeju Air accident and their bereaved families."
