SEOUL, Feb. 28 (Yonhap) -- Blackpink’s Lisa released her first solo full-length album, Alter Ego, on Friday, according to Sony Music Entertainment Korea.
The album features 15 tracks, including the title song FXCK UP THE WORLD, as well as Elastigirl, Thunder, BADGRRR, Lifestyle, Chill, and Dream.
In Alter Ego, Lisa introduces five distinct personas—Roxie, Sunny, Kiki, Vixie, and Speedy—each representing a different facet of her identity. These characters correspond to the five points of a star, a symbol closely associated with Lisa, and are reflected in the album’s tracks.
The album also includes Born Again, a pre-release track featuring pop stars Doja Cat and RAYE, which gained significant attention. Born Again successfully entered the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Top 40 Radio chart as the most-added song.
Lisa collaborated with several high-profile artists on this album, including Megan Thee Stallion, Future, and Tyla.
She is set to perform alongside Doja Cat and RAYE at the 97th Academy Awards on March 2 (local time). In April, she will also take the stage as a solo act at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the biggest music festivals in the U.S.
