SEOUL, Sept. 4 (Yonhap) -- Actor Ryu Soo-young, who gained attention for his impressive cooking skills, delivered a speech at a startup-related event organized by Stanford University in Korea.
On the 4th, Ryu Soo-young's agency, KX Entertainment, announced that he participated as the keynote speaker at the "Stanford Symposium" held in Korea on the 3rd. The event featured participation from Stanford University researchers, students, alumni, and representatives from Korean startups in the food and beauty sectors preparing to enter the U.S. market. The program provided a platform for these startups to showcase their products and receive expert advice.
The agency stated, "In his speech, Ryu Soo-young inspired startup representatives in the food industry who are embarking on new challenges, instilling them with courage and passion."
Ryu Soo-young became a hot topic for his exceptional cooking skills on the KBS variety show "New Release, Pyeonstorang." In April of this year, he also gave a lecture as a chef, not an actor, at the "Korean Food Conference" organized by Stanford University.
