SEOUL, Jan. 26(Yonhap) – The members of K-pop boy group THE BOYZ have recently tested positive for the new corona virus one after another.
The agency IST Entertainment said through the official fan café on Jan. 27, “THE BOYZ’s Hyun-jae has tested positive for COVID-19 from the additional PCR test conducted on Wednesday.
This is the third confirmed case of THE BOYZ members.
Eric(Son Young-jae) tested positive on Jan. 24 while Young-hoon(Kim Young-hoon) was confirmed on Jan. 26.
The agency explained, “All 8 members except Hyun-jae and staff members tested negative,” adding, “We will continue to conduct PCR tests and self-diagnosis kit, considering the incubation period of the virus.”
It also mentioned, “We apologize for causing concerns,” adding, “We are taking all necessary measures in accordance with the quarantine authorities and will faithfully cooperate with the quarantine guidelines as a top priority.”
