SEOUL, June 24 (Yonhap) -- Actress and singer Lee Bon is making a comeback as a radio DJ after 21 years.
KBS 2 Radio (106.1MHz) announced on Tuesday that it will launch a new program titled "Lee Bon’s La La Land," succeeding "Lee Gak-kyung’s Happy Time at 4."
This marks Lee Bon’s return to radio DJing since her last show, "Lee Bon’s Raise the Volume," which aired on KBS Cool FM from 1995 to 2004.
The title, reportedly chosen by Lee herself, reflects her desire to turn the sleepy 4 p.m. time slot into a magical hour.
Lee shared, “I’m excited to return to my beloved radio, and especially happy to be back on KBS Radio, which feels like home. Since many have waited a long time, I want to share my lively energy and love with the listeners.”
"Lee Bon’s La La Land" will premiere on June 30 and air daily from 4 to 6 p.m.
