SEOUL, Nov. 30 (Yonhap) -- The most played song in Korea's Apple Music this year is girl group Ive's "Love Dive."
On Wednesday, Apple released "2022 Most Loved Song on Korean Apple Music Top 20," which was calculated by measuring the number of plays by each songs.
Following "Love Dive," Ive's debut song "Eleven" came in second.
(G)I-DLE's "Tomboy," which gained great popularity in the first half of this year, placed third, New Jean's "Hype Boy" came in fourth, and Big Bang's "Still Life" fifth.
Red Velvet, Big Natty, and Le Sserafim were also listed in the top 10.
As if to prove that K-pop girl groups stood out this year, seven out of top ten groups were K-pop female artists.
According to Apple's music search platform "Shazam," the most searched song by Koreans is BTS' Moon, and Rapper B.O's "Love Me" followed.
Meanwhile, Apple has announced that they will improve the quality of Replay, which allows users to check their music playing patterns.
Improved Replay will separate the categories into user's most played song, album, artist, and genre so that users can see their playing patterns at once.
