Actors Cha Tae-hyun, Jin-young, Jung Soo-jung casted as the leading roles in KBS's new drama

SEOUL, April 20th (Yonhap) -- KBS 2TV announced on the 20th that actors Cha Tae-hyun, Jin-young, and Soo-jung will star as the leading roles of the new KBS2 drama, “Police Academy."

This drama tells the story of a detective who physically catches a criminal with his body and a student who was a former hacker and solves everything with his head, teaming up together at the National Police University to conduct a cooperative investigation.

Cha Tae-hyun plays professor Yoo Dong-man, who has accumulated 20 years of experience as a police in each department, including homicide detective to the cyber investigation unit.

Jin-young plays Kang Seon-ho, a freshman at the National Police University as well as a former hacker while Soo-jung plays Oh Kang-hee, a character with a cold heart but righteous.

The first episode will air in July.
