SEOUL, Jan. 16 (Yonhap) – Jackson Wang, a Hong Kong singer who made himself known by once joining JYP Entertainment’s GOT7, will be attending Coachella Festival for 2 straight years, according to his agency.
As one of the largest, most renowned, and most profitable music festivals in the U.S. and the world, the 2023 Coachella will begin on Apr. 14 and end on Apr. 23. Jackson will be appearing on the stage twice, on Apr. 16 and 23. BLACKPINK has already been announced as the first K-pop artist ever to headline the festival, along with some of the biggest artists including Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean.
Jackson entered the South Korean music industry as a member of GOT7 and then went on solo with his 2019 solo debut album “MIRRORS,” with which he ranked No.32 on the “Billboard 200.” He then earned his highest Billboard 200 entry with his latest album “MAGIC MAN,” released in Sept. 2022, ranking at No. 15.
