Hanbok Culture Week, held annually in the third week of October, aims to promote everyday Hanbok culture through exhibitions, hands-on experiences, fashion shows, and various Hanbok-themed programs. Now in its seventh year, this year's theme is "The Elegance of Hanbok, a Companion to the Korean Wave," with a range of events centered around Jongno District, Seoul.

The Seoul Museum of Craft Art will host a special Hanbok exhibition titled "Touch, See," featuring video recordings of Hanbok materials and the Hanbok-making process, as well as Hanji (traditional Korean paper) installations. At the Chunchugwan of the Blue House, there will be a display of traditional Hanbok used in life ceremonies, including first birthdays, coming-of-age celebrations, weddings, sixtieth birthdays, and ancestral rites.

At the Changgyeonggung Palace, visitors can participate in a hands-on experience of wearing traditional Hanbok properly. Meanwhile, the front yard of the National Folk Museum will offer a program for youth that explores the history of coming-of-age ceremonies and traditional Hanbok.
