SNSD’s Taeyeon to host Mnet’s girl group competition show ‘Queendom Puzzle’

SEOUL, Apr. 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korean legendary girl group SNSD’s Taeyeon has been named the next host of the local cable channel Mnet’s girl group competition show “Queendom Puzzle,” a sequel to its competition show “Queendom.”

This upcoming show will follow “Queendom” (2019) and “Queendom 2” (2022), by which members of K-pop girl groups or female soloists will join to form new project girl groups. The previous “Queendom” series garnered attention by featuring six famous girl groups, including 2NE1’s Park Bom, AoA, Mamamoo, OhmyGirl, and more, competing against each other for a big comeback show. These groups prepared to perform on a weekly stage.
