SEOUL, March 8 (Yonhap) -- YG Entertainment announced on the 8th that they will be holding global auditions from April to December to discover K-pop stars.
The auditions will begin in Toronto, Canada on the 27th of next month and will be held in 17 cities across 10 countries including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
Recruitment targets teenagers born between 2006 and 2013, divided into categories such as singing, rapping, dancing, and visuals.
YG also plans to hold separate public auditions in Japan from April to May with local entertainment agency Avex.
