SEOUL, May 24 (Yonhap) -- Louis Vuitton has announced that it has selected actor Song Joong Ki as its new brand ambassador on Wednesday. 

Song Joong Ki is known for being in various works such as the drama "Vinsenzo," "Reborn Rich," and recently made his debut at the Cannes Film Festival with the movie "Hopeless."

Louis Vuitton has previously chosen group BTS' J-Hope, model Jung Hoyeon, and NewJeans' Hyein as its ambassadors.
