SEOUL, Aug. 23 (Yonhap) -- LILHUDDY, American rookie singer-songwirter, is to join Weverse, BTS and BLACKPINK's fan community.
He will be the 7th foreign artist to set up a fan community on Weverse according to Weverse Company Monday.
The company includes not only Korean artists but foreign singers such as Gracie Abrams, New Hope Club, Jeremy Zucker and Max as well.
LILHUDDY, born in 2002, is an influencer who gained popularity through TikTok, a short video platform. With about 30 million followers, the young artist has been selected as TikTok teen influencer by Billboard.
The artists confirmed a contract with Immersive/Geffen Records, under Universal Music Group's representative label Interscope Records, last year. He has started his singer career debuting wirh "21st Century Vampire" in January 2021.
Also, with his consecutive singles describing honest messages from gen Z, he sang various genres and received positive responses exceeding 33 million streams on Sportify.
He will drop his first album "Teenage Heartbreak" on Sep. 17th.
