NCSoft reveals teaser site for Lineage W in order to target global game market

SEOUL, Aug. 11 (Yonhap) -- Video game developer NCSoft unveiled the teaser site of its new mobile MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing games) "Lineage W" on Wednesday.

Lineage W is a game that inherits the existing PC game Lineage's worldview and is a global version of Lineage M, which earned great popularity after being released in Korea.

On the teaser site, which is designed with a historical concept, game users can find various graphics and illustrations related to Lineage's worldview. Keywords of Lineage W such as "Forever," or "The Blood Pledge," will also be introduced.

NCSoft plans to release details of the game through a global online showcase on Aug. 19.

Although NCSoft did not disclose any release dates, the game industry expects the game to drop this year at the earliest.
