SEOUL, April 5 (Yonhap)-- Namwon National Gugak Center announced on the 5th that it will hold the "Gwanghalluwon Garden Concert," which will present a variety of Gugak, traditional music performances at the Gwangalluwon Garden in Namwon city of the North Jeolla province in the spring and fall of this year.

The concert will be filled with Samullori Instrumental Music, pansori (Korean genre of musical storytelling performed by a singer and a drummer) Chunhyangga, folk dance, sanjo (style of traditional Korean music with an instrumental solo accompanied by janggu) and many more.

A professional commentary will also be included so that gugak (Korean traditional music) will be easily understood.

Beginning from today's performance, the spring performance will be held every Thursday and Saturday at 2 p.m. until the end of May, and the fall performance will be held from September to October.

There is no admission fee.

"It will be a time to heal where one can enjoy the music as they admire the scenery of the Gwanghalluwon Garden, where the love story of Chunhyang and Mongryong began." said the Namwon National Gugak Center.
