JYP Rookie Boy Group KickFlip Gears Up for Debut with 'Umm Great'

SEOUL, Jan. 7 (Yonhap) -- JYP Entertainment's new boy group KickFlip has unveiled the music video photos for their track "Umm Great," fueling anticipation for their official debut.

KickFlip is set to debut on January 20 with their first mini-album, "Flip it, Kick it!" On January 6, JYP shared the music video, member profile images, and album scheduler via their official social media channels. At midnight on January 7, additional photos from the "Umm Great" music video were released, showcasing the unique charm of the group's seven members.

In the photos, members Gyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minjae, Keiju, and Donghyun exude confidence and vibrant energy against a playful, kitschy backdrop. Their expressive poses and bright demeanor capture the youthful spirit and bold ambition reflected in their track "Umm Great."

The song features upbeat lyrics about cheerfully shrugging off nagging criticisms and staying true to one’s path. With its catchy beat and humorous message, the track highlights the group’s fresh energy and carefree attitude.

KickFlip's debut mini-album, "Flip it, Kick it!" will officially drop at 6 PM on January 20. The same day, the group will hold a debut showcase on Mnet M2 at 7 PM, followed by a live debut showcase at 9 PM.

To celebrate their debut, KickFlip will also host a pop-up event at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu from January 25 to February 2, offering fans a chance to immerse themselves in the group's launch activities.
