SEOUL, Aug. 27 (Yonhap) -- Production company Studio Dragon announced on the 26th that it will host a special event for Korean drama fans in Japan, titled "K-Drama Festival 2024 with Studio Dragon" (hereafter referred to as "K-Drama Festival").

The event is scheduled to take place on October 12 at the Makuhari Messe Event Hall in Chiba Prefecture, near Tokyo.

The festival will be divided into two parts: the first part will feature actor Ok Taec-yeon, who starred in the drama Vincenzo, and the second part will feature actor Lee Joon-gi from Flower of Evil. Both actors will share behind-the-scenes stories related to their respective dramas.

The K-Drama Festival is part of a collaboration between Studio Dragon and Japanese entertainment company Avex Pictures, following a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Yoo Bong-yeol, the Head of Content Business at Studio Dragon, stated, "We plan to further expand our intellectual property (IP) business by continuing to collaborate with the agencies of actors who have appeared in our dramas."
