SEOUL, Feb. 18(Yonhap) – “Emperor of the Trot” Na Hoon-a will release a new song to mark his 55th debut anniversary.
Na will drop the new album “Scents of seven lights(translated)” on Feb. 22, according to the agency YeAra·YeSori on Friday.
The album contains a total of 7 songs, including “Fight(translated),” “Hope(translated),” “Wife’s Mother(translated),” “Rain(translated),” “Regret(translate),” and “Change.”
The singer will release the music video of “Fight” through YouTube on Feb. 22 at 12 p.m., the release date of the album, and the music video of “Change” will also be unveiled on Feb. 25.
Na said through the agency, "After a long time of 55 years, I've been still working on music at the end of the path.”

He added, “Just as everyone longs for a new world with painful and confused hearts, I hope the seven songs from “Scents of seven lights” will be a gift of hope that keeps everyone and myself warm.”
Na Hoon-a debuted in 1968 with the songs and “My Love,” and “The Path We Shared Words,” composed by Sim Hyung-sup, and has become the “Emperor of Trot” by releasing hit songs, including “Far Away Hometown,” “Waterwell is Turning,” “Hometown Station,” “Forever(translated),” “Any Time,” and “Weed(translated).”
The singer once again drew attention by appearing in the 2020 Chuseok TV show "Korea Again Na Hoon-a" to comfort people suffering from COVID-19. At the end of last year, he held concerts in Seoul and Busan and met his fans.
