'Emergency Declaration' receives invitation to 'Sitges Film Festival' in Spain

SEOUL, August 12 (Yonhap) -- South Korean block buster film “Emergency Declaration” staring Lee Byung-hun and Song Kang-ho received an invitational letter from the upcoming “Sitges Film Festival” happening in October, under the competition segment, announced provider of the movie “SHOWBOX” on Friday.

Director Han Jae-rim’s movie “Emergency Declaration” is an S.Korean block buster about a plane which was forced to land due to Bio Aerial Terrorism and those who fight to survive the disaster.


“Sitges Film Festival” happening in Spain is focused on movies within the genre of SF, thriller and horror. “Sitges Film Festival” is considered to be one of the three biggest Genre Film Festival along with “International Fantastic Film Festival of Porto Alegre,” and “Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival.”
