SEOUL December 6 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group BLACKPINK has been selected as the “Entertainer of the Year” by Time Magazine, addressed group’s agency YG Entertainment on Tuesday.
BLACKPINK is the first girl group to have ever been awarded with the title of “Entertainer of the Year.”
“Blackpink will continue to play its role as a trendsetting icon, not only in music, but also in beauty, fashion, and other industries.” Adding “The foursome released its highly anticipated second studio album, Born Pink, in September, which notched a record as the best-selling album by a Korean girl group, with over 2 million album sales.” addressed Time Magazine on reasons why K-pop girl group BLACKPINK was awarded with the title.
