SEOUL, Oct. 22 (Yonhap) -- Super band BTS will hold an online concert “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” on the 24th, which is after about 1 year since their last one, according to their agency Big Hit Music Friday.
The online concert will be live-performed at a large stadium in Korea. This is their online concert in about an year and performing on a large-scale stadium is in 2 years since October 2019.
“The performance is mainly focused on interacting with the audiences. We carefully selected songs that are suitable in a large stadium and that the artists want to show to their fans,” said the agency.
“We are practicing hard for the concert. We have prepared songs that ARMYs will like. You can look forward to it,” said the members.
The upcoming concert will be a festive delivering a happy message like its title and like BTS’s message from their song, “Any of you are permitted to dance from anywhere you are.”
The agency said that the band is aiming to exert positive energy all over the world with their cheerful and grand performances.
“As the stage set will change according to the song’s concept and atmosphere, there will be a lot to see. We have put in immense care into the stage equipments like preparing BTS concert’s largest LED screen ever,” explained the agency.
Especially, they have adopted a new technology, “Visual Effect View” (VEV) which sends the LED screen’s effects, which used to be visible only at the actual performance spaces offline, to the online watchers’ screens as well. This new effect will increase the liveliness of the concert.
Using this technology, the online audiences can see a screen that combines the graphic for the lyrics and the commentary effects. Also, “Multi-view Service” by which a viewer can choose a screen out of 6 screens to watch.
BTS will reveal their sound-checking, a part of the rehearsal, before going into the actual concert to let the fans feel like they are taking part in getting ready for the concert together.
