SEOUL, May 18 (Yonhap) -- S. Korean actress Kim Sae-ron (22) is investigated by the police for charges of drunk driving.
According to the Seoul Gangnam Police Station, on Wednesday, Kim is under investigation for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The police explained today around 8 a.m. that after receiving several reports by citizens that "the vehicle driving in Cheongdam, Gangnam District, is noticeably shaken," they were dispatched and caught Kim driving.
Kim blew on the breathalyzer and the result tested positive. The police tried to measure her blood alcohol concentration, but the actress refused and asked for a blood test.
An official from the station said, “The charges will be determined based on the blood results,” adding, “The results come out about a week later.”
The actress was found to have crashed into guardrails and street trees several times while driving. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Kim debuted as a child actress and starred in films “The Man from Nowhere,” “The Neighbor,” “Barbie,” and dramas “The Queen’s Classroom” and “Secret Healer.”
