SEOUL, Nov. 10 (Yonhap) -- Formal coats and short paddings that go well with social party are likely to be leading the trend for women's outer wears this winter.

Samsung C&T Corporation fashion category on Thursday overlooked that formal coat due to the increase of outdoor activities and working at office and short coat, which focuses on style than cold protection, will emerge as fashion for women this year.

Over-sized coat with its long length and larger size is predicted to be popular this winter as well.

On the contrary, padding with short length will be in fashion.

Short padding styles using various materials such as leather, knitwear, and corduroy other than street mood which was highlighted for awhile is predicted to be popular this year.

Samsung Fashion researcher Im Ji-yeon said, "Long coat with long and large fit and short padding that focused on activities are must items for this winter."

As number of customers looking for coats and short paddings increase, released distribution companies are releasing related products.

CJ Onstyle announced on the following day that they will release outer wears by collaborating with their own brands such as celebshop edition and GStudio and popular fashion brands including Saint James and Studio Tomboy.

Celebshop edition and Gstudio each showed off handmade coat using wool and "Copenhagen mink half long coat.

CJ Onstyle explained that Burberry and Giordano etc. are releasing various products regarding this winter's popular item, quilting light-weight padding.
