SEOUL, December 7 (Yonhap) -- Movie "The Point Men" starring actor Hwang Jung-min and Hyunbin as main characters will be released on January 18 of 2023 according to the film distribution company Plus M Entertainment on Wednesday.

The movie depicts the negotiation operation between diplomats and local NIS agents heading to Afghanistan to save South Koreans who have become Taliban hostages.

Hwang Jung-min will play Jung Jae-ho, the diplomat who is specialized for making negotiations, Hyunbin will play Park Dae-sik, NIS agent specialized in middle east area.

Director Yim Soon-rye who produced "Little Forest" (2018), "South Bound" (2012) and more directed the movie.
