SEOUL, July 25 (Yonhap) -- American country singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves, an eight-time Grammy Award winner, will hold her first concert in South Korea this December.

Concert promoter Private Curve announced Friday that Musgraves will perform at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul on December 4.

Known for her genre-blending style rooted in country music, Musgraves seamlessly incorporates elements of pop and folk into her sound. She holds the distinction of being the only artist to win in all four major country categories at the Grammy Awards.

Her debut full-length album "Same Trailer Different Park" (2013) earned her the Grammy Award for Best Country Album, among other accolades. In 2018, she garnered four Grammy Awards, including the coveted Album of the Year, for her critically acclaimed album "Golden Hour."

In 2023, Musgraves collaborated with Zach Bryan on the track "I Remember Everything," which not only won a Grammy but also became the first country duet in 40 years to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The upcoming Seoul concert marks Musgraves’ first visit to Korea. She is expected to perform a selection of her most iconic songs along with tracks from her fifth studio album "Deeper Well," released last year.
