SEOUL, Dec. 31 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy group THE BOYZ’s New (real name Choi Chan-hee) has released his first self-composed song "0329 from.24," according to his agency IST Entertainment on Dec. 31.
The song contains the love he has received from his fans. Before releasing the song, New posted a handwritten letter on the fan café and gave thanks to the fans.
He said in the letter, "I had been lonely and sad a lot, but I was able to spend a happy 24-year old, thanks to you guys," adding "I wrote the song so that 'THE B(THE BOYZ’s fan club name)’ could be comforted when feeling lonely."
The song “0329 from.24” can be found on the music platform SoundCloud.
THE BOYZ, an 11-member boy group that debuted in 2017, has steadily accumulated fandom and gained popularity by winning the Mnet's music competition program "Road to Kingdom" last year.
The group’s 3rd single album "MAVERICK,” which was released last month, topped each music program and achieved 5 wins.
