SEOUL, Mar. 16 (Yonhap) -- The childish but bright and cheerful romance drama has drawn attention of viewers.
The 6th episode of SBS TV’s Monday and Tuesday drama “A Business Proposal,” which was aired on Mar. 15 at 10 p.m., recorded viewer rating of 10.1 percent, according to a rating research company Nielsen Korea on Wednesday.
“A Business Proposal” depicts the romance between the ordinary businesswoman Shin Ha-ri(Kim Se-jeong) and her boss Kang Tae-mu(Ahn Hyo-seop) going on a blind date.
The 6th episode portrayed Kang Tae-moo, who became aware that he likes Shin Ha-ri, trying to win her heart.
Kang went on a date to the movie theater and the beach on the excuse of winning the heart of Shin Ha-ri, who treats him only as her boss. However, Shin embarrassed Kang by offering tight work schedule without noticing his mind.
The drama, which is based on the popular web novel and webtoon of the same title, depicts unrealistic but sweet romance between the rich male lead and the ordinary female lead.
Ahn Hyo-seop, who does not notice such a clumsy disguise from the setting of Kim Se-jeong becoming Shin Ha-ri with heavy makeup and transforming into Shin Geum-hui with light makeup, makes the drama childish but humorous at the same time while making viewers laugh.
Moreover, the harmony of Kim Se-jeong, who shows off bright energy all the time, and Ahn Hyo-seop, who seems picky and displays his charm in narcissism, has received favorable reviews.
“A Business Proposal,” which is updated every week on Netflix along with television broadcasting, is receiving worldwide popularity, especially in Asian countries.
According to the data released by streaming analytics company “FlixPatrol,” “A Business Proposal” entered the Top 10 of TOP TV Shows on Netflix by ranking No. 9 on Mar. 4, and No. 7 on Mar. 15.
