Kang Soo-youn's funeral to be broadcasted live on YouTube

SEOUL, May 8 (Yonhap) -- Actress Kang Soo-youn Funeral Committee announced on the 8th that it will be holding a funeral service at the funeral hall of Samsung Seoul Hospital in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 10 a.m. on the 11th.

The funeral Committee announced that it will be broadcasting the funeral service live through the Korean Film Council’s official YouTube channel. However, funeral procedures will be kept private to reporters.

The funeral committee made this decision in consideration of the will of the bereaved family.

The funeral committee chaired by Kim Dong-ho, former chairman of the Busan International Film Festival (currently, the chairman of the Gangneung International Film Festival), along with 49 other filmmakers will also be participating in the funeral as the executives.
