SEOUL, Feb. 22 (Yonhap) -- The Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation (KOMSCO) will hold an exhibition on the collections of two currency sculptors at the Currency Museum of Korea until Mar. 12.

Researchers Seo Chang-ho and Kim Bok-gyu, the two currency sculptors from the KOMSCO’s Technology Research Institute, will display about 20 relief sculptures made in the process of researching and carving out commemorative coins and medals.

Researcher Seo carved the commemorative medals for the legendary singer Cho Yong-pil and football player Park Hang-seo, as well as the coin celebrating the 2002 FIFA World Cup and coins representing Korea’s national parks. Meanwhile, researcher Kim is known to have sculpted the commemorative medals for figure skater Kim Yu-na and football player Song Heung-min.
