BTS collaborates with producer Na Young-seok for new entertainment program

SEOUL, April 21 (Yonhap) -- S.Korean renowned variety-reality show producer Na Young-seok and worldwide superstar BTS's own variety web series, "Run BTS", will be collaborating.

tvN announced on Wednesday that a total of four collaboration series of producer Na Young-seok's entertainment show "Fifteen Days on a Business Trip" and "Run BTS" will be released next month.

"Fifteen Days on a Business Trip" is a program where producer Na visits official events and entertainment shows to play games. This time, Na Young-seok will go on a 'business trip' to "Run BTS."

This is the first time "Run BTS" has officially collaborated with other programs. The production team of the two programs had reportedly prepared contents over a long period of time and finished filming together.

In the collaborated program, BTS members will be challenged in various games played in "Fifteen Days on a Business Trip" and show off their comical charms. Na Young-seok will also showcase a game that fully utilizes each member's unique character and chemistry with one another.

The first episode will be released on May 4th through HYBE's fan community platform Weverse and Naver's V App. Afterwards, tvN and "Fifteen on a Business Trip"'s official YouTube channel will broadcast the second episode on May 7th. The program is scheduled to air for two weeks.

"Run BTS" started in August 2015 as BTS's own web entertainment show, which gradually grew in correspondence with the idol band's popularity.

"Run BTS" has served as a window to gather fandom as the show portrayed the members' natural yet charming appearance.

In January, Baek Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea and also referred as the "Godfather of the restaurant industry," appeared on "Run BTS," and the video was broadcasted on SBS TV program "Delicious Rendezvous," which drew more attention from the public as well.

This month, episodes from "Run BTS," which are normally released online were pre-released on JTBC2 channel for two weeks.
