SEOUL, Aug. 7 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group aespa has made its debut at the Tokyo Dome after 2 years and 9 months since their debut, its management said on Monday.

The quartet held the "aespa Live Tour 2023 Sync: Hyper Line" at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on Saturday and Sunday for some 90,000 fans, according to its agency, SM Entertainment.

Debuting in November 2020, aespa set a record for the fastest debut as a non-Japanese artist to perform at the Tokyo Dome. The Tokyo Dome, with a capacity of approximately 50,000 spectators, is considered the "dream stage" where only the top artists in Japan can perform.

Following the two-day sold-out performances, the concert opened additional restricted view seats, attracting a total of 94,000 attendees over the two days.

For about three hours, aespa delivered a dynamic performance of 28 songs, including their new songs "Spicy" and "Welcome To MY World," as well as the EDM version of "Hold On Tight." Solo stages were also showcased, such as Karina's "Menagerie" and Giselle's self-composed song "Keep Goin."

At the concert, aespa expressed their gratitude, saying, "Thank you for coming to aespa's world. We will work even harder to become aespa who receives much love from all of you."

Following the Tokyo Dome concerts, aespa will continue their world tour in 14 cities, including the United States, South America, and Europe, starting from LA on Sunday.
