Apink to reveal their first unit in 11 years

SEOUL, June 13 (Yonhap) —South Korean girl group Apink is showcasing their first Unit in 11 years since their debut.

According to IST Entertainment, “Members Park Cho-rong and Yoon Bo-mi will be part of Apink’s unit (Cho-Bom), Cho-Bom will be releasing their debut album this coming July.”

The name Cho-Bom originates from both of the members name Cho-rong, and Bo-mi, it is a combination of single word from their names. 

Officials from IST Entertainment stated, “Instead of Cho-Bom being a temporary unit for special stages, or concerts Apink is launching their official unit with a full album," adding, "Cho-Bom is working very hard in order to meet their fans with superb quality of music.”

Apink debuted with their song “I Don’t Know” in 2011 and continued to release hits such as “Mr. Chu”, “No No No”, "LUV", "Dumhdurum" and more.

Apink who has returned to the scene of K-Pop successfully by taking the first place in music shows with their 10th anniversary album (Horn) in February, reformulated into a group of five under the circumstance of their member Son Na-Eun's departure.
