HAMAN, Sept. 3 (Yonhap) -- The "Wild Ginseng Anti-aging Expo Hamyang, Korea 2021" will be held in Hamyang, South Gyeongsang Province on Sept. 10 under the theme of "Thousand Years of Wild Ginseng, Dream of Longevity."
The event, which will be held at Sangrim Park in Hamyang and Daebong Mountain Valley Resort until Oct. 10, will promote the excellence of wild ginseng and hold exhibitions, academic conferences, performances, and experiencing events to become a motive power for Korean anti-aging industry development.
The organizing committee announced on Friday that the Republic of Korea Air Force aerobatic team, "Black Eagles," will hold a celebration flight from 4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. on the opening day of Sept. 10.
The organizing committee is also concentrating on attracting visitors while sticking to the social distancing rules due to COVID-19.
The organizing committee is preparing four types of wild ginseng giveaway events including a "target audience achievement event," where the committee gives Hamyang wild ginseng to the 10,000th, 100,000th, 150,000th, 200,000th, and 330,000th visitors, and the "certification shot event" will allow visitors to receive ginseng gifts on a first-come, first-served basis after taking and uploading three pictures inside the Expo venue to social media accounts with hashtags.
