CGV screens 17 nominees for American Academy Awards

SEOUL, Feb. 6 (Yonhap) - CGV is to hold a "2023 Academy Exhibition," which will screen 17 nominees for the 95th Academy Awards to be held on the 12th of next month (local time).

The exhibition will be held at 14 locations nationwide, including CGV Gangbyeon, Gwangju Sangmu, Daegu Academy, Daejeon, Myeongdong Station Cine Library, Seomyeon, and Yongsan I-Park Mall from the 11th to the 21st of next month.

In addition to works on screen such as "Babylon," "Avatar: The Way of Water" and "Aftersun," works that have gone down from the screen such as "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," "Elvis" and "Top Gun: Maverick" will also be screened. Seven unopened films in Korea, including "Tár," "The Whale," "The Quiet Girl," "EO" and "Close," will also meet with the audience.
