SEOUL, Aug. 1 (Yonhap) -- "Red Velvet is like a precious diary where the brightest moments of my life are recorded, word by word." (Seulgi)

 

As they mark their 10th anniversary on the 1st, the members of Red Velvet reflected on their memorable moments and shared their thoughts on reaching this milestone.

 

In a Q&A session with their agency SM Entertainment, the members expressed their disbelief at how quickly ten years have passed and extended their gratitude to their fans, ReVeluv, for their unwavering support.

Debuting in August 2014 with "Happiness," Red Velvet has captivated audiences over the past decade with hits like "Red Flavor" and "Feel My Rhythm," as well as their unique concepts.

 

Joy attributed the group's long-standing success to their genuine love for the team, their music, and their sense of responsibility to always present their best to the fans. "I think our sincerity has reached our fans," she said.

 

Among their many memorable moments, the members unanimously recalled the cheers from fans on their debut day as particularly unforgettable. Joy vividly remembered her debut performance at 19, feeling grateful for the fans' support and giving her all on stage.

 

To commemorate their anniversary, Red Velvet released a fan song titled "Sweet Dreams," expressing their affection for their supporters. Following the release, they will kick off a fan concert tour in Seoul from August 2-4, extending to five regions across Asia.

 

Wendy shared that they have prepared new performances and songs for the fan concerts, promising to showcase as many tracks as possible to their beloved audience.

Reflecting on their journey, the members emphasized the meaningful time spent together, describing each other as "friends and family" and showcasing their strong teamwork.

 

Irene stated, "Red Velvet is everything to me. I hope we continue to be a fun and lively team that everyone enjoys meeting."

 

Yeri expressed that she would look back on their activities with pride in the distant future, noting that the trust and friendship built over the years with her members, and the cherished memories with their fans, have been a driving force for them.

 

Red Velvet's 10th anniversary not only celebrates their achievements but also underscores the deep bond they share with each other and their fans, promising more bright moments ahead.
