SEOUL, Dec. 7 (Yonhap) -- Girl group New Jeans' debut song "Hype Boy" placed No.24 on "Best Songs of 2022" ranked by an American monthly magazine Rolling Stone, ranking the highest among K-pop songs.
Rolling Stone on Wednesday evaluated "Hype Boy," saying, "The song stands out from the debut album with its addictive choreography and easy-to-remember chorus."
New Jean's debut album "New Jeans" has previously placed No.46 on Rolling Stone's "Best Album of 2022."
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's pre-released song "Pink Venom" from their regular second album made the list at No.35, becoming the second highest ranked song following among K-pop.
