SEOUL,
Nov. 10 (Yonhap) --
Kang began her music career in the indie scene in 1997 and later performed as the vocalist for Shincheon Blues in 2014. She rose to wider recognition last year as a Top 7 finalist on JTBC’s music competition show Sing Again 3.
The release marks her first new single in about four years since her solo debut album in September 2021. The new single captures her heartfelt emotions and the courage to sing again after experiencing personal loss. It includes two tracks: “But You Know” and “I Just Wanted to Be Loved.”
Kang will also hold a solo concert at Cloud Under Small Theater in Hongdae, Seoul, at 7 p.m. on Nov. 21.
