SEOUL, Feb. 8 (Yonhap) - The National Museum of Korea announced on Wednesday that it will extend the special exhibition of "Six Centuries of Beauty in the Habsburg Empire" currently being held in the special exhibition room by two weeks until March 15.

The special exhibition, which is presented with the Vienna History of Art Museum in Austria, is an exhibition that sheds light on the art works of the Habsburg royal family, which has been at the center of European history for about 600 years.

In the exhibition, 96 artworks collected by the Habsburg royal emperor and archduke, including Velázquez's "Infanta Margarita Teresa in a White Dress," can be seen in one place.

A museum official said, "We decided to extend the period to provide more visitors with opportunities to visit."

Online reservations for the extended period (3.2-15) can be made from the 10th of this month.

Regarding the extension of the exhibition, Sabine Haag, director of the Vienna History of Art Museum, said, "It will be a great opportunity to promote cultural exchanges between the two countries."
