SEOUL, May 6 (Yonhap) -- The Doosan Bears, a South Korean professional baseball team based in Seoul, has invited the girl group Le Sserafim as the first pitcher for their home game against Kt wiz that is being held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 7th.
"Kim Chae-won, the leader of Le Sserafim will be throwing the first pitch while Hong Eun-chae will be swinging the first bait to signal the start of the match with Kt on the 7th," said Doosan on the 6th. "In the cleaning time, after the 5th inning, all the 6 members of Le Sserafim will perform on the cheering squad."
Hong Eun-chae, the first baiter, is originally a "Doosan fan" as she was influenced by her parents.
The Le Sseraphim members said, "We would like to say thank you to the Doosan Bears officials for inviting us. With a great pitch, we will cheer for the victory of the Doosan Bears."
