SEOUL, Sept.26 (Yonhap) -- My Real Trip, free travel platform in S. Korea, announced on Monday they have acquired Startrip, a service which provide information on tourist attraction appeared on K-contents to foreigners in multi-language.
Start trip solves problems of unified tourist information and language barrier by providing information on places related to K-content using phrases such as "BTS MV shooting location" and "BLACKPINK go-to restaurant" and offer reservation service
My Real Trip said, "After the acquisition, we will increase K-contents and add more languages to Start trip so that more foreign fans can actively use it."
My Real Trip did not disclose the amount for the acquisition.
My Real Trip acquired IWATRIP, a startup that operates kids travel platform "Donkey." in March, and invested in "Office Jeju," which operates shared accommodation and offices for work and vacation in Jeju Island, earlier this year.
